This is a wishlist for things I want to achieve in Hyprland.

  • A launcher. Powerful or just minimal, pick one direction and follow it well. (SUPER+Space, or Super+D)
  • A power menu (SUPER+Shift+P)
  • Idle+Lock functionality (SUPER+Shift+L)
  • Top / Bottom bar panel, Will most likely change over the course of time.
    • window title
    • cava visualizer
    • clock
    • workspaces
    • sound volume
    • network connectivity
    • battery and charging,
    • power profiles toggle.
  • Toggable Sidebar with widgets (SUPER+Shift+B)
    • media playing
    • Full date with week number
    • calendar events
    • weather forecast
    • Mounted removable drives
  • Jump between workspaces with SUPER+Tab
  • Jump between windows with Alt+Tab
  • Working fn-keys
  • Print screen functionality
  • Color picker functionality
  • Open terminal on SUPER+Enter
  • Widget/Scratchpad area (Workspace 0)
  • A file explorer (Thunar?)
  • Display manager (kanshi, or something better)
  • Tray, in panel or widget
